David Gordon (Australian politician)

Sir David John Gordon was an Australian politician. He was a member of the Australian House of Representatives from 1911 to 1913 and a member of the South Australian Legislative Council from 1913 to 1944. He was briefly Minister of Education and Minister of Repatriation under Archibald Peake in 1917 he would later become a longserving President of the Legislative Council from 1932 to 1944.
